Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL)- the state-owned steel maker under the Ministry of Steel, has invited tender for export of 10,836 MT Billets to Nepal. The minimum offered quantity is 2,709 MT.
As per the delivery schedule, last date of delivery period shall be 30 Nov’18.The offer given by the bidder will remain valid till 06 Nov’18.

Vizag Steel Extends Ocean Tender due date: RINL’s last ocean export tender of 10,000 MT Billets and 20,000 MT Blooms was due on 24 Oct’18. Amid weak response, the company has extended due date till 30 Oct’18.

Global Billet export offers observe downturn:
1. Billet export offers from CIS nations are assessed around USD 455/MT, FoB Black Sea. Inquiries from SE Asian mills remained slow.
2. Medium mills export offers to Nepal hovering at USD 470-475/MT for Billet and Wire rod at USD 550/MT Ex-Mill, Durgapur
3. Vizag Steel’s last billet export tender to Nepal floated on 29th Sept was concluded at around USD 500-505/T (ex-mill).
4. Domestic billet prices in India is around INR 34,600/MT (Durgapur)
