China imported iron ore stocks up 0.9 pct this week

Stockpiles of imported iron ore at China’s major ports rose 0.9 percent this week to 71.62 million tonnes.

Inventories of ore from Australia added 430,000 tonnes to 25.29 million tonnes, and Brazilian ore was almost flat at 18.42 million tonnes. Ore from India sitting at ports reached 12.53 million tonnes, down 1.6 percent from last week.
