Essel Mining and Rungta Mines based in Orissa have incresed their Iron Ore prices by Rs 650/MT. Prices have been increased over high steel prices in recent times.
Sponge prices are hovering around Rs 19000-21000/MT across India. Other miners are also likely to increase their ore prices very soon said market participants.
After the hike steel futures on NCDEX jumped 600+ points and closed at Rs 28340/MT (Jan Exp).
