Finish long steel imports to the Czech Republic is consequent on rise since couple of months and increased about 1.56% M-o-M in Jul’18.
As per custom data, the nation has imported about 110,367 MT Finish long steel in Jul’18, inclined marginally by 1.56% against 108,664 MT in Jun’18.
Similarly, on yearly comparison, the Finish long steel imports was elongated by 21.06% to 110,367 MT in Jul’18 as compared at 91,162 MT in Jul’17.
Under Finish Long steel commodities following HS codes has been considered – Bar & Rod (HS code 7213 & 7214), MS Wire (HS code 7217) along with Angle & Shapes (HS code 7215 & 7216).
Rebar have contributed the major import proportionate in Jul’18 and registered at 58,323 MT (-4.79%) followed by Structure (Angle and Shapes) 38,976 MT (+15.84%) and remaining Wire Rod 80,125 MT (-5%). The changes are compared on monthly basis.
Country Wise
During Jul’18, the largest exporter of Czech Republic Finish Long Steel was Poland at 40,564 MT (+5.66%), Germany – 23,297 MT (+14.56%) and Italy – 14,409 MT (-26.7%).
