Rungta Mines, one of the largest merchant miners of Iron ore with about 12 MnT pa installed capacity and mining operations in the state of Odisha and Jharkhand, has raised Iron ore prices for the rest of October.

The miner has raised offers because monsoons impacted Iron ore production and demand from Sponge iron units was better in the past fortnight in comparison to September.
Indian Sponge iron prices have witnessed an upward movement in the past few days as plants are running at low capacities.
