According to latest release by Russian customs data,flat steel exports which includes (7208- HR coils/Plates,7209 – CR coils, 7210, 7212 GP/GC and 7225 electrical sheets) witness the decline of 8% in H1CY18 to 4.48 MnT which was 4.87 MnT in H1CY17.
However on monthly basis the same went up by 10% in Jun’18 to 0.79 MnT which was 0.72 MnT in May’18.
Similarly on yearly basis nation’s flat steel exports decline by 5% in Jun’18 against 0.83 MnT in Jun’17.

Country-Wise Russia Flat Steel Exports in H1CY18-Turkey was major flat steel importer of Russia and has imported 1.36 MnT of flat steel in H1CY18 decline by 20% against 1.71 MnT in similar time frame of previous year.
Second largest importer was Belarus with 0.33 MnT in Jan-Jun’18 against 0.31 MnT in Jan-Jun’17
Meanwhile Latvia also imported 0.21 MnT in Jan-Jun’18 against 0.12 MnT corresponding time frame of previous year.
Meanwhile Kazakhstan and Vietnam imported 0.21 MnT followed by USA at 0.17 MnT and Uzbekistan at 0.15 MnT in Jan-Jun’18.
