Adhunik Metaliks likely to get environmental clearance for its iron mine very soon

Adhunik Metaliks is likely to receive environmental clearance for its Suleipat iron ore mine in Orissa very soon..*

The clearance will be for 150 acres of non-forest area mining. However, the official announcement for the clearance is expected in April. 

Suleipat iron ore mines have an estimated resource of 80 million tonne. The company expects to commence commercial operations in these mines by Q1 FY12.

Adhunik Metaliks also plans to begin operations in its captive iron ore mine in Keonjhar, Orissa by the next quarter. All approvals for this mine are in place and the company will execute the lease deed with the state government very soon. This mine has an estimated resource of about 25 million tonne.
