Indian manufacturers anticipate higher steel demand after march; Liquidity still a concern

Indian Re-bar prices opened higher in physical market backed by higher Ingot and Billet prices.However trading volumes remained low..*

Manufacturers are optimistic that demand will go up after March, when construction activities start picking up across India. Manufacturers like Goel TMT, a Raipur based integrated plant was seen buying Ingot in god quantites.  Market anticipates to see an improved demand for steel in the month of April.

 

 

Where as traders and retailers are not too bullish on the prices as they feel high cement cost and tight liquidity in the market might hamper sales.
