India: Govt of Uttar Pradesh Awards Road Projects To Infra Companies

The UP Govt in recent awards two of its major express way projects to the Infrastructure companies worth of INR 5,279 Crore.

PNC Infratech Limited:

PNC Infratech Limited, based in Agra (UP), as per company’s press release of July 20, 2018, it has received letter of Intent from the Uttar Pradesh Express ways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) under the arm of UP government for the following two contiguous EPC packages of Lucknow – Ghazipur Six Lane Access Controlled Purvanchal Expressway Project in the state of Uttar Pradesh for an aggregate contract value of INR 2520 crore.

The company also claim it was the lowest bid for the above projects. It was opened on 9 July and the each project is to be completed in the next 36 months.

Gayatri Projects:

Gayatri Projects, is engaged in the execution of major Civil works based in Hyderabad, as per company’s press release of July 20, 2018, it has bagged new orders of INR 1483.00 Crores (Package-I) and INR 1276.00 Crores (Package-II) for Development of Purvanchal Expressway Project from Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) under the arm of UP Government on EPC basis.
