Russia: Manganese Ore Imports Slips Marginally in May’18

According to the Russian customs, the country witnessed a marginal decrease in its Manganese Ore imports by 10%.

Russia imported 0.09 MnT in May’18 against 0.1 MnT in the previous month. However, on yearly basis, Russian imports sees a substantial increase of 50% Y-o-Y as it imported 0.06 MnT in May’17.

South Africa was the largest exporter of Manganese Ore to Russia with an export volume of 0.06 MnT in May’18, witnessing a decrease of 33% M-o-M against 0.09 MnT in Apr’18. Gabon, on the other hand, exported 0.02 MnT Ore to Russia in May’18 against null exports in the previous month followed by Kazakhstan.
