India looks to improve steel quality standard post Japan quake

Taking lessons from the recent Japanese quake, Indian steel industry is looking forward to improve its quality standards.*

 

India is studying the imposition of mandatory steel quality standards after last month’s earthquake in Japan highlighted the need for better safety, said two government officials involved in the deliberations.
