As per the data by IMIDRO, Major Iranian steelmakers exported around 1,907,793 MT of Steel during first three months of current Persian year (21 Mar-21 Jun’18). Export increased by around 10% Y-o-Y. Standalone during the third month export was noted to be around 627,875 MT by registering a downfall of 11% Y-o-Y.
1 – Khouzestan Steel Company (KSC) was the largest exporter during the period, the company exported around 764,296 MT steel during the period. The company registered a downfall of around 6% Y-o-Y. Standalone during the third month export was noted to be around 273,014 down by 22% Y-o-Y.
2 – Mobarekeh Steel Company (MSC) was the second largest exporter of steel during the period, the company exported 342,101 MT in 3 months, registered a growth of 98& Y-o-Y. During the third month, company exported 100,191 MT by registering a growth of 200% Y-o-Y.
3 – Esfahan Steel Company (ESCO) reportedly exported around 254,609 MT during the period, exports were down by 30% Y-o-Y. The company managed to export around 60,909 MT in 3rd month.
4 – Other major exporters includes Hormozgan Steel (188,682 MT), South Kaveh Steel (266,000 MT) and Khorasan Steel (50,100 MT).
