Steady conditions prevailed in market and prices settled around at previous levels except at Raigarh where prices dropped down by Rs 500/MT.*
Jayswal Neco offered its steel grade Pig Iron at Rs 25500/MT ,whereas Jindal Steel at Raigarh lowered its offer by Rs 500/Mt and quoted its at Rs 25000/MT.
Where as prices at Kolkata, Cuttack and Goa remain unchanged and volumes remained low.
Steel prices are mostly on a negative mode and market players believed that stability in pig iron prices will be stagnant for some more periods and a little correction in prices may take place in the month of July as coking coal prices may go down by that time.
