The Nation has exported its long steel around 69,326 MT in the month of Apr’18 against 115,556 MT Mar’18, declined about 40%, whereas on yearly basis export was figured at 61,942 MT in Mar’17 down by 11.92%.
Coming to total exports of Taiwan’s long steel during the first four months of 2018 (Jan-Apr) it is about 422,864 MT surge by 49% as against same time frame during last year 283,183 MT (Jan-Apr 2017).
Sub-Commodity
Bar’s & Rods have contributed the major exports proportionate and registered at 42,679 MT in Apr’18 against 54,110 MT in Mar’18; down by 21%, followed by Angle and Shapes 19,143 MT in Apr’18 against 53,720 MT in Mar’18; down by 64.36% and remaining was MS Wire 7,504 MT in Apr’18 against 7,726 MT in Mar’18; down by 2.87%.
Country wise:
Few factors have been considered to get low proportionate in Taiwan Exports due to lessen import by favorable nations or can be considered as regular buyer where Australia has imported 14,095 MT in Apr’18 down by 52% against 29,299 MT in Mar’18, followed by USA which is noted at 1,331 MT in Apr’18 against 25,948 MT in Mar’18 significant down by around 95% and third the major downfall by China which has imported by 5,384 MT in Apr’18 against 11,297 MT in Mar’18 down by 52.34%.
