Khouzestan Steel Company (KSC), the second largest exporter of Steel in Iran during the first month of current Persian year has exported around 131,812 MT steel during the period. The company witnessed a drop of around 21% Y-o-Y against 108,900 MT steel exported last year same period. KSC has recently signed sales contract with German and Spanish companies.
In spite of the difficulties caused by USA, Europeans welcome the quality of Iranian products and are ready for all-round cooperation, which was one of the largest sales contracts signed during the negotiation of the Khouzestan Steel business delegation to Germany and Spain.
According to the Public Relations report, “The talks were held in order to examine ways to expand commercial relations, and the Europeans said they were ready for all forms of cooperation”
According to Mohammad Kashani, the managing director of Khouzestan Steel Co, “the expedition group has had important talks with the Schmitt Clementos Bilbao in Spain and Salzgitter in the city of Düsseldorf, Germany. As a result of these agreements, a significant amount of the contract has been signed “.
According to this report, Mr. Zuber, CEO of Salzgitter, said that despite the problems that European companies faced by in post US exit of JCPA, our company is ready for all cooperation and welcomes the quality products of Khouzestan steel Co. He said proudly that they are the diehard customer of Khouzestan Steel products
Bloom has the major share in KSC’s export, the company exported 69,025 MT in current Persian year, registered a drop of 14% Y-o-Y. Another major product exported by KSC during the period were billet and slab. The company exported 59,793 MT and 2,994 MT respectively.
