Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), state owned steel maker under the ministry of steel, has invited a tender for export of 10,000 MT Billets. The offered material is of grade IS 2830 GR A of size 90*90mm. The length of Billets is 12 meters approximately and packaging will be in loose.
Interested bidders can submit their bids till 09 May’18 at 11:00 hrs. The offer given by the bidder will remain valid till 16 May’18.
As per the delivery schedule, last date of delivery period shall be 15 Jun’18 for Billets.
The bidders have the option to quote for shipment either at Visakhapatnam port (VPT) or Ganagavaram port (GPL).For steel products other than WRC the FOB expense of VPT is Rs. 344.75 and for GPL is Rs. 317.25.

Global Billet market overview:
1. CIS billet (125*125mm) export price assessment stands at USD 510/MT, FoB Black Sea
2. Billet export price assessment from Iran have moved down this week amid fall in bids from GCC countries. Current assessment stands at USD 480-490/MT, FoB Iran compared to last week’s assessment of USD 495-500/MT, FoB.
3. Chinese billet export offers have edged up this week to USD 540-545/MT, FoB China, up by USD 5/MT W-o-W.
4. Domestic billet prices in China increased post Labor day holidays amid reduced steel inventories. Towards the end of this week, price of Q235 billet in Tangshan increased to RMB 3,710/MT (incld 17% VAT), up RMB 30/MT D-o-D.
