LME three month billet prices rose on Friday following a rise seen in the physical market. The officials moved up to $585-590/MT from $580-585/MT on Thursday in line with rises in the Turkish physical billet market.
However, trades were seen at the level of $578/MT. According to traders, there were lots of traders with positions at the $585-590/MT level willing to sell as they saw physical billet prices retreating in the short term.
