Imported HRC offers to Vietnam from Chinese mills have remained largely stable this week. Currently Chinese HRC (SAE 1006) offers to Vietnam are assessed at USD 605-620/MT, CFR Vietnam. Market participants also shared that end users in Vietnam are holding sufficient inventories at the moment and are reluctant to make the bookings at higher price.Thus they are waiting for clear outlook of imported prices of HRC in the market.
Thin trades from China were reported by Vietnam based mills. However after Formosa Ha Tinh price announcement made last week, end users preferred to go for domestic HRC. Formosa Ha Tinh Corporation is offering HRC at USD 600/MT CFR Ho Chi Minh City.

3. HRC / South Korean Offer for SAE1006 /Vietnam market : at USD 665/ MT CFR Vietnam,June shipment offered by South Korean mill.
4. HRC/ SAE1006 /Arcelor Mittal, Brazil Market : at USD 610/ MT CFR Vietnam.
5. HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm / Chinese offer – Benxi Iron & Steel mill at USD 620/MT, CFR Vietnam.
6. HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm / Chinese offer – Rizhao Iron & Steel mill at USD 615/MT, CFR Vietnam.
