A three day long transportation strike in Odisha’s Koira mining sector was called off today. As per trade sources report to SteelMint, transporters and local MLA’s in Koira sector had gone on an indefinite strike on Wednesday i.e. 11 April’18.
The local people went on strike looking at the bad road conditions in the Koira mining sector which had hampered road movement. Trade participants highlighted that no material movement was taking place during the course of strike.
However in the latest update received on the same, the strike has been called off today.
Few major mines located in Odisha’s Koira mining sector are that of Rungta’s Oraghat, Sanindupur, BICO, Feegrade, SN Mohanty, Essel Mining (Koira) and AMTC.
