Imported offers of HRC to Vietnam increased marginally by USD 10/MT amid uptick in Chinese steel prices early this week.
Currently imported offers of HRC (SAE 1006) to Vietnam from China are heard at USD 610-615/MT CFR Vietnam against previous price assessment made early this week at USD 600-605/MT CFR Vietnam.
Market sources mentioned that Chinese based major mill Benxi Iron and Steel is offering HRC (SAE1006 ) at USD 615/MT CFR Vietnam,up by USD 10/MT against the offers made in the beginning of the week.
However Rizhao Iron and Steel is offering imported HRC (SAE1006 ) at USD 603-605/MT CFR Vietnam.
Chinese steel prices have edged up this week amid increase in future market.
Few trade deals reported by Vietnam importers
Few trade sources highlighted that Nam Kim steel (biggest manufacturer of Galvanized steel coil, Galvalume steel coil, Prepainted Galvanized and Prepainted Gavalume steel coil) has booked the material of 10,000 MT of HRC from Benxi Iron and Steel in the range of USD 605-608/MT CFR Vietnam.
Also trade participants mentioned Hao Sen and Ton Dong have booked 10,000 MT and 5,000 MT HRC from Chunghung origin.
