India: MMTC Tender for Purchase of 60,000 MT Iron Ore Fines

MMTC, a leading international trading company in India and one of the major global players in minerals trade, has issued a tender for purchase of 60,000 MT (approx) iron ore fines (0-10 mm) from the Mines owner of Joda/Barbil in Odisha for supplying to Neelachal Ispat Nigam (NINL) Plant at Duburi, Odisha.

NINL is expected to resume operations in April. The pig iron manufacturer is expected to operate at its full capacity of 1.1 MnT post capital maintenance repair.

The bidders have to quote F.O.R price per WMT basis. Tender Price will remain valid for 30 days for acceptance by MMTC.

Delivery: 15 rakes within 30 days from the issue of Purchase Order.

1. Fe content – 62% basis
2. Sio2 – 3% max
3. Al2O3 – 4% max
4. Moisture – 6% max
5. Sulphur – 0.02% max
6. Phos – 0.055% max
