Freight rates for 10 MT load for select destinations declined by Rs 1,000 in the local truck transport market today following poor cargo movements amid easy availability of trucks.
Transporters said heavy availability of trucks and reduced arrivals of cargo, mainly pulled down some of centres’ freight rates.
Delhi to Chennai, Kolkata, and Mumabi rates slipped by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 52,000, Rs 26,000 and Rs 24,000, respectively.
Rates to Banglore, Kochi and Patna also went down by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 54,000, Rs 63,000 and Rs 22,000, respectively.
