Jindal Steel & Power Limited (JSPL) has started offering iron ore lump from its Tensa mines from Feb’18. The company has kept 100,000 MT per month for sale in the market.
It has recently reduced offers for iron ore lump.
Currently the lump (5-20mm, Fe 59-60%) prices are around INR 3,000/MT (ex-mines, including Royalty, DMF & NMET). The prices have come down by INR 650/MT on advance payment basis.
Amid improved supply post resumption of mining operations at Odisha’s major mines like Serajuddin and Essel Mining, iron ore prices in the state are under pressure.
