This week imported HRC offers to Vietnam have witnessed slight decline of USD 5-10/MT on weekly basis amid volatility in HRC export offers in China and less buying interest at current levels.
Currently imported offers of HRC (SAE 1006) to Vietnam from China are heard at USD 620-625/MT CFR Vietnam.Last week the offers was assessed in the range of USD 630-635/MT CFR Vietnam.
Market sources mentioned that Chinese based mills like Maanshan Iron and Steel is offering imported HRC at USD 620/MT CFR basis. However few deals were heard to have concluded at lower price of USD 618/MT CFR basis.
Also, China’s Shandong Iron & Steel is quoting HRC offers at USD 625/MT CFR basis.
However,end users are eyeing for lower prices and are bidding on lower side at USD 600-610/MT CFR basis.
”We are looking forward to buy around 10,000 MT HRC from Chinese mills but we are waiting for fresh offers this week.”, reported a major galvanized steel coil and Galvalume in Vietnam.
