According to the Russian customs, the country has witnessed a marginal decrease of 9% Y-o-Y in its Ferro Alloy imports.
In CY17, Russia exported 0.61 MnT Ferro Alloys against 0.67 MnT in CY16. However, on monthly basis, it witnessed it witnessed no change in its export volume. In Dec’17, Russia exported 0.05 MnT of Ferro Alloys against similar quantity in Nov’17.
On yearly basis, Ferro Silicon exports by Russia was at 0.32 MnT in CY17 down by 29%, while Ferro Chrome export witness an increase of 26%. However, on monthly premises, both the Ferro Alloys witness a stable export volume.
In CY17, Japan and Netherlands imported 0.13 MnT of Ferro Alloys each from Russia followed by South Korea at 0.10 MnT. In Dec’17 all the aforementioned countries imported a similar volume of Ferro Alloys from Russia at 0.01 MnT each.
