Global billet market overview:
1. Domestic billet (125*125mm) prices in India are observed at INR 34,900-35,100/MT (ex-Mumbai).
2. Billet export offers from CIS nations moved up by USD 10/MT W-o-W in recent trades. Last offers assessed at USD 505-515/MT, FoB Black Sea.
3. Iran billet export offers move up further. Iran’s Esfahan Steel concluded 70,000 MT billet export deal at around USD 495-500/MT, FoB.
4. Chinese billets remained away from market amid ongoing Chinese Lunar New Year holidays which ends on 21 Feb’18
