KJS Ahluwalia, one of the largest merchant miner based in the state of Odisha, has cut its iron ore lump prices up to Rs 400 (USD 6.6) per tonne, in line with other private miners, who have reduced their offers in first week of this month.

5-18 mm & Fe 63 Rs 4,700/MT, down by Rs 400/MT
10-30 mm & Fe 61 Rs 4,200/MT, drop of Rs 200/MT
Iron ore Fines
Fe 63 Rs 1,500/MT, down by Rs 100/MT
Ex mines prices; Including Royalty and taxes extra
NMDC Also Cut August Prices
NMDC, state-owned and India's largest iron ore producer had also cut its iron ore lump prices by Rs 200 (USD 3.3) per tonne for the month of August, looking at weak demand from steel manufacturers.
