Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited (NINL), state owned, which is operating a 1.1 MnT integrated steel plant at Cuttack (Odisha), had cut its prices of Concast Steel Billet Grade IS 2830 by Rs 500/MT w.e.f 12 August, according to a notification issued by the company.
Current offers for Billet are standing at Rs 29,000/MT (Ex NINL plant basis) for retail sales only.Prices are valid up to 26th of August. Previously company had raised its prices by Rs 1,500/MT on 30th July 2013.
Commercial Billet Still Cheaper
However billet offers by other private manufacturers are at available at much lesser price. Current offers for commercial billet stands at around Rs 27,000/MT on Ex-Works basis in Odisha.
