South Korea: Ferro Alloy Imports Up by 29% M-o-M in Nov’17

According to the South Korean customs, the country has witnessed an increase of 29% M-o-M in its Ferro Alloy imports.

In Nov’17, South Korea imported a total of 0.09 MnT Ferro Alloys against 0.07 MnT in Oct’17. However, on yearly basis, there has been no change as South Korea imported 0.09 MnT in Nov’16 as well.

In Nov’17, Korea imported 0.05 MnT of Ferro Chrome, 0.03 MnT Ferro Silicon, and 0.01 MnT Silico Manganese. South Korea registered a substantial increase of 25% and 50% M-o-M in its Ferro Chrome and Ferro Silicon imports respectively, while Silicon Manganese import volume remained stable.

India, South Africa and China, each exported 0.02 MnT to South Korea in Nov’17 while Russia, Malaysia, and Kazakhstan exported 0.01 MnT each.
