Iran’s Esfahan Steel Export Increases by 85% Y-o-Y in Nov’17

“In the first 8 months of current year, more than 50% of steel produced was exported” As per Dr. Eshan Dashtyaneh, Deputy of Marketing and Sales – Esfahan Steel Company

Esfahan steel company, one of the largest exporter of Steel in Iran has exported around 750,000 MT of steel in first eight months of current Persian year (23 Oct-21 Nov’17), registered a growth of around 85% Y-o-Y.

CEO of Esfahan steel company, Mr. Ahmad Sadeghi has announced “Our goal is to pass 1 MnT of exports, the company exports has increased 85% from beginning of this year as compared to last year. Steel products are now exported to four continents.”

According to Dr. Ehsan Dashtyaneh, Deputy of Marketing and Sales of Esfahan steel “In the first 8 months of current year, more than 50% of steel produced was exported”. He said “Out of total production of around 1.50 MnT of Steel production in current year, more than 750,000 MT has been exported to 14 countries on 4 continents.

Dr. Dashtyaneh referred to following action that helped ESCO for steel production and export.

  • ESCO has CE-Marking certification which helped them for re-export to European Market.
  • CARES certification helped to develop export in GCC, UK and Africa.
  • Participation and Presence in International conference, events helped the company to understand the foreign market and to develop relationship globally.
  • Research on negotiations with potential customers and target markets to identify the needs of the market.
  • Change in terms of payment and facilitating it in order to facilitate the purchase of Esfahan iron and steel products.
  • Improving the terms of delivery of goods and to create special conditions for construction projects.
