Steel billet in the domestic market is trading at around Rs 30,500-32,000/MT across India. Prices are likely to stay in same range and are unlikely to move up sharply, said traders based in Nagpur.
“Billet is being traded at Rs 31,000-31,300/MT. Manufacturers are not stocking at the moment as demand is not so encouraging. Prices are unlikely to fall sharply or move up.” said a billet trader based at Nagpur.
